I really liked the book but how and why did they change their minds so fast with no explanation. what exactly happened to the fathers? there are so many open questions. the plot is great but there are confusing holes in it.
I enjoyed the story but it left me wanting for more. Definitely will read the next installment in this series.
This story starts out slow but the tension is built exquisitely. The two male Magians are not very well developed,but the story progresses quickly enough to create interest.
I liked the men. Ric and Jacob seem real and their emotions are very plausible. Easy to believe these three main characters are real people...uhm Magians. My only complaint was that I sometimes didn't know who was speaking. The scene with Jacob's mom and sister seemed a bit confusing too. I wasn't 100% sure what happened until I caught up with information later in the story and flipped back to re-read.
Great overall. Very entertaining.
I enjoy the series very much, people don't have to read them all to get the story. Of course after reading one you will be dying for the others! The erotic scenes do not come out of nowhere and cause whiplash nor the fighting. The best part of these books is that they give a new view to magic and keep you enthralled throughout the series.
4 out of 5 stars, this book was cute and HOT all rolled up together! Jacob and Ric (the guys in Harrison's triad) are such complete opposites that you cannot help but fall for each of them. Plus the plot worked out well with the first book in this series, while leading up to the following book that I believe will be staring Harrison's younger brother Lorie and their cousin Conway with their mystery girl (hopefully it'll be as good as the first two).

This was a new author for me and I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the others in this trilogy. Alexander has a unique style that mixes humor, magic, vivid characters, and descriptive scenes, that pull you immediately in to the amazing story. I loved the ideas and of finding love with your mated pair while having adventures and solving mysteries. A great addition to my e-library and I'm definitely going to go look for more books from this author!!
