Intrigue and murder fuel this story set in Gallup,NM
I loved the vivid characters , the setting and the storyline.
It was nostalgia returning to Gallup and the El Rancho Hotel.

COOPER Dean is a lawyer in Los Angeles and his wife was a B actress and she was found dead in a swimming pool. Her death was ruled accidental but he believes she was murdered, because she did not like the water and she did not drink alcohol. He goes to New Mexico where Walter Spate is the producer f a new movie being filmed there. He stops at a small hotel so he cannot be recognized by any if the people who might have known his wife. He stops at a motel called the Turquoise Treasure and the woman at the desktops like his dead with Katherine. That s is a very good read and I highly recommend it.
